Capistrano Valley Riding Center formerly known as Newport Mesa Riding Center Lesson Program

The CVRC Program is the perfect way to start horseback riding. Our focus on equitation is the foundation of excellent riding. Our instructors teach through the “Sabo System”, which can take a rider from beginner to advanced level, all ages are welcome. We pride ourselves in our focus on horsemanship to help riders become well rounded horsemen. We have fantastic school horses available for lessons and we also offer lease options. Our instructors are the best in Orange County and will be sure to provide riders with top tier service.

Set up an Introductory lesson.  This is a one-hour private lesson that allows us to assess your current skill level and discuss your goals. Afterward, we will develop a program for you and match you with a trainer that will best suit your needs.

What will you need on your first day? You should wear long pants and a boot with a heel. We have boots available if needed. We also can provide riding helmets- if you choose to bring your own name sure it is ATSM/SEI approved. Please arrive 10 minutes before your first lesson.
